As the morning sun rises, two boys wake up and prune their plum trees, and suddenly get ambushed by other boys, this is how the short story “The Clearing” by Jesse Stuart. most comedies start out some thing like this, meaning life’s pretty normal, then every thing goes down hill, and then there is always a happy ending.

Most friend ships last a long time, whether its an animal or a human, we need them to live. The comedy “A Secret For Two”, is a excellent example of friendship of man and animal, making it a perfect short story.

The Circuit

Life is tough enough as it is, but by being a sharecropper can make it even more difficult. Having to move around constantly to try and find more work because of the changing seasons, is not an easy thing to do. In the short story “The Circuit” by Fransico Jiménez, a young boy has to constantly be on the move because of the job him and his family have. Even when things seem to be going great at his new job, things change instantly, making this the perfect tragedy.
